I wasn't sure about purchasing this based on the reviews because people said it was a hassle bc it takes a long time to assemble. It does take time- I believe 2-3 hours but I also did half then finished the next day. What will save you a lot of frustration I believe, is using an electric screwdriver vs doing it with a regular one... there are quite a few screws. That said- you have to figure out which color screws to use because they don't tell you (instructions are picture & which # to use, pieces have # sticker on them). And some pieces would have been easier to put together if I didn't already put a different piece on based on the steps in the instructions. Also, a couple of screws didn't go into the piece correctly, or didn't fit right, and I ended up super gluing it together- they were non-moving parts so it wasn't a big deal. The kid I got this for is not gentle, and it's still together. People saying it's not sturdy, I can only assume you didn't screw it together tight enough- which is another reason to use an electric screwdriver. So, there are pros and cons to this toy, it's your decision to make if it's worth it or not.

My wife assembled this. She said there were a lot of small pieces to put together. It appeared she was using my drill but I'm not sure if it was necessary (vs a screwdriver). Instructions were simple but it still took her about 2 hrs to build. When I got home, I could see that it's a hefty toy, which should be perfect for my ASD/ADHD son who loves Hot Wheels (not built for HW but obviously will function for them).

Fue un regalo para mi nieto de 3 años, lo tuvieron que armar sus papas, requirió mucha concentración pero ya que está armado mi nieto está encantado y juega muchísimo con el

Some parts had some chips . And some the characters printed were messed up . Also the worst part was the instructions not clear. Maybe if the added the pictures to the parts can see which side should face out . Which screws go with what side. It would’ve been so much better. It’s cute but needs adjustment to instructions.

I glossed over "assembly required" when I ordered this. My husband and i worked together for 2.5 hours to put it together. Instructions were deficient in terms of what color screws to use and which direction the illustrated pieces went in, but the actual diagrams were accurate. You basically build the upper two floors upside down, then flip them snd attach to the base. Some of the other reviews mentioned using glue to secure some of the pieces that are attached with dowels. Now that my grandson has played with it a few times I can see why. So even though assemble is a bear, it is a great toy with lots of features. The ramps are so fun!!!! The landing pad at the top is nice. I can see why it would not be as affordable if it was assembled before shipping. Long story short, my three year old grandson loves it. You can use other brand name small toy cars with it. It's very impressive looking. Quite heavy. Just don't think it's a quick assembly. You will need a block of time to put it together. But fun to play with once it is done!
