This is my first time using this brand LP-E6 dual battery charger. It works greatand charges my LP-E6 batteries very well. I'm glad I found it.

Completed a full charge timely.Very compact to travel without a usb cord and not a large power cord.

I normally charge my batteries through the grip, but it won't charge with third party batteries. This little guy, however, doesn't care where your batteries are from and charges them with no problems. Small and light, it is also a great option to throw in the bag if you need to travel light.

I got this unit specifically for its USB-C charging ability so it would charge my canon 7d batteries quickly. Yes this is faster than the usb mini connections which is great.It's small, light and has a display indicating where it is in the charge cycle. Although the display flashes back and forth when there are two batteries charging which was a bit annoying, anyway a minor gripe. The USB-C cable is a bit over a foot long. I plug this into a quick charge 3.0 - 18W usb port (which is on my usb hub) to get a good charge.
