Bought March 2024, worked great and tonight it started crackling and melted to my plug in the wall. It was trying to catch fire!

I didn't take before and after pictures, but the vase of water is where I originally placed the fish while attempting to clean the tank. It was so dark and cloudy I couldn't see the props inside the aquarium. I placed the light in the filter box and kind of forgot about the entire process. Without an accurate time line, I will say it took a little longer that 5 days, but the tank water is completely clear. Great cheap product.

The compact size will fit nice in any aquarium and even in some filtraction systems easy to clean simple plug and press timer for intervals of 3,6,12,24 hours and Off when all four leds are flashingThis tiny lamp is a algae power house killer.. destroyed blooms and cleared water in less then a hour from cloudy to clear water. Fish in tank have voted a Big Yes to purchasing this UV Compact Bulb with a good life expectancy if used intermittent for its life time use. Light does not need to be on 24/7 as it will clear the water fast in less then 2 hours and you can then turn off bulb or put it on the timer to keep bulb from over use. happy with this purchase and will buy again if this one burns out in future.
