If you need to have super large, heavy duty trash bags with zero odor, these are what you are looking for! Having chemical sensitivity makes it super difficult to find items that are safe for me to use, so when I find them, I am so happy! Even bags that claim they have no odor, usually still do. The last ones I bought stunk so badly, almost like gasoline, and I could not use them even after taking a few bags out of the box, and airing them out for over a week! I ended up giving them to someone else that didn't care about the smell.The bags are thick, and work great in our 32 gallon trash bin outside that has an attached lid. One would think that 55 gallon bags would be too large for that sized can, but they actually work perfectly, especially since the flaps are so long, which shortens the length of the actual bag. So, if you need a liner for a trash receptacle, these work great! My only regret is that I didn't get a larger trash bin, cause 32 gallons is actually not that much.When trash day comes, we just take out the large bag from the can, and place it on the curb. This helps to keep our trash can in great condition, not being thrown around by the garbage crew. It also helps to keep the trash can itself clean, and free from smelly garbage "juice"!*This product was purchased at full retail price, not discounted or free.

I have been buying the Hefty brand for quite a while now, with no complaints at all with them. I was on my last one, and decided to check on Amazon to see if there were any that were just as good for a better price. I made the horrible mistake of letting all the good reviews of this bag get to me, without really looking at the specs. HUGE mistake. These bags are only 1.4 MIL thick, whereas the Hefty bags are 2.0 MIL thick. The first time I took one of these bags out of the box, I immediately noticed that they felt quite a bit thinner. I thought oh well, they had great reviews, they should be ok. WRONG. I went outside to put it in my big Rubbermaid trash can. As I was stretching it to fit around the can (as I also have to do with the Hefty), it ripped! I finally got it on, but I had enough common sense to know it wouldn't hold up to the trash I put into my outside can. So I double bagged it, filled it up with trash, and when I pulled the bags out, they felt like they would rip, so I went to wally world and got a box of the Brute 55 gallon bags. They are actually even better than the Hefty, since they're the same 2.0 MIL thickness, but 6 inches longer, so you have more to tie when it's full. I put the 2 Kirkland bags into a Brute bag and threw it in the bed of my truck. The Kirkland bags may be fine for indoors, or very light trash outside, but certainly not for heavy trash. I now have a new box of Brute bags, which I will use from now on, and 48 Kirkland bags that I will only use when I have a lot of lightweight trash to fill them, such as cut up cardboard boxes. Live and learn, and I learned that 2.0 MIL thickness is WAY better than 1.4 MIL thickness. Don't make the same mistake I did!

These are pretty sturdy bags that don't tear easily. They also hold a larger amount than the smaller 55 gallon bags as these are 60 gallon. Try these. I think you'll like them.
