I love this light. It is electric. No changing batteries. You can get creative painting it.

I purchased this item for a six year old because of the positive reviews and it was such a disappointment when it arrived. Packaged in a plain, generic brown box and the quality was what one might expect from a flea market. Cheap looking and not appealing to a child, that's for sure. Returned it and replaced it with something I could actually see and hold in a store.
