I haven't tried to pump fuel with the transfer pump yet so I don't have an opinion related to how it will work. The fittings are crudely forged and very thin. The hose clamps are rough, narrow and don't want to tighten like they're supposed to. The hose is very flexible, which I like, but I'm afraid it's going to tear at the first time it's caught on something. The electrical wire hook up is only 6 ft which is acceptable but 10 ft would be better. On the positive side, the pump body itself is made of cast iron. If I could have seen it first I probably would not have ordered it. By the time I need to pump fuel the 30 days will probably be up and if it doesn't work I'm just stuck with it for $70.

Worked as described and designed. (Drained 20 gals of water from a 400 gal marine diesel fuel tank)

Returned due to leaking at the threaded connection. Applied the white thread tape but didn’t help.
