First time using liquid silicone but it couldn’t have been easier. I did watch several YouTube videos first which I would recommend to anyone that is a beginner

A great alternative to more expensive platinum silicones. The usual top brand silicone I've been working with is triple the price and this works just as well.The longer cure time isn't an issue for me, I usually feel rushed anyway especially since I want to get it pressurized before it starts to harden. The end result is a little stiffer than I'm used to but for the cap molding technique I use this isn't a problem.

I made several molds with this silicone using pieces of acrylic that I engrave and cut out with my diode laser.Most of them were butterflies that I am going to make resin earrings out of. They were very detailed and the silicone picked up every little detail like it was the original. I am very happy with this kit.Because the pieces were small I used 2 oz straight sided shot glasses for the housing of the silicone molds and placed my acrylic pieces on the bottom with the detailed part facing up.I let them cure overnight and they turned out way better than I anticipated. I am not sure what it is about the green silicone, but it seems to work a lot better than the clear silicone mold making kits. I let this sit for a few minutes to degas, it degassed on its own without using a degassing chamber. To be on the safe side I used a straw to blow on it before I poured it to make sure there were not any more air bubbles. I didn't not see any air bubbles or air pockets in the 20+ molds that I have made so far, and every one of them is usable.
