I purchased a supposed high quality bearing kit from this seller, I have worked on appliances for over twenty years, the Maytag bearing kits have a lifespan of about 8 years, the last kit I purchased started making noise at 2 months old and in less than three months had to be replaced , on inspection one of the bearings was not lubricated properly and failed, I reached out to the seller with a computerized response but nothing since . Please don’t buy from this seller. Thank you . Do not buy from Layger

While the kit did contain most of the correct parts the O ring is the wrong size and after two weeks the bearings are making noise, louder than the ones I replaced.Took the washer apart again the bearing shows no sign of water but does make noise when it is turned, so bearing failure is the cause.

Most importantly you must use water resistant grease as it is not supplied in the kit

Don't waste your money. Kit arrived almost a week late. Opened it to repair the washer and found 2 necessary items missing. Contacted the seller and was told to simply purchase another (another 3 week wait) and to send the other one back. I had to pay to have it shipped back (even after pointing out several times it was their mistake. )HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE product.
