Bought an induction stove and old canner would not work. Decided to try a new meathod as it requires so much less water and steam is hotter the. The water anyway.Very happy with results. Works great. Would recommend for garden preserves

This stainless steel steam canner is exactly what I needed! It heats up quickly and works perfectly on my induction cooktop, which can be hard to find with some canners. The temperature indicator is a great feature—it takes the guesswork out of canning and ensures everything is processed at the right temperature. It’s also lightweight compared to traditional water bath canners, making it easier to handle when full. Cleanup is simple, and the quality feels durable and well-made. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use steam canner, this is a great choice. Highly recommend!

This steamer I so much cooler to use than my water bath canner. Of course, the middle of the summer is the hottest time to can unless doing early in the morning. Even though we have air conditioning and the range hood in high, it was just too hot to can on those 100 degree days. This canner is the ideal solution. So easy to use and uses less water. The temp gauge is great to make sure the product will be safely canned.Easy to assembly. I was initially concerned about the lid in the top. I looked at a different steamer with handles on lid and bottom and riled it out because there was no temp gauge. I loveThe temp gauge. To my surprise, the lid is okay to lift the top without a pot holder. Of course I would try carefully and have a pot holder nearby. This steamer has a small hole in the back side that should be pointed away from you. I thought that would be hard to figure out and then realized in the top of the cover is the brand name and the exhaust hole is on the opposite side.I am still working to keep the red arrow attached to the gauge as it keeps falling off and it is so tiny and could easily be lost. Probably assembly error on my part. I set the little red arrow aside till I figure this out. This gauge has letters rather than temps which is okay as you just need to set the gauge and be sure to read the manual for explanation.I just canned a batch of chutney and it was so much easier. I liked that I did not have to lug the full canning pot to the sink to empty. I would have to wait till it cooled down (sometimes Overnight) to empty.Great steamer too. I had a huge Napa cabbage that I wanted to make stuffed cabbage. I cut off the bottom of the cabbage and removed the leaves and placed in the steamer and will assembly the cabbage rolls when the cabbage cools. I look forward to steaming corn on cob or dumplings or whole cauliflower or broccoli. I don’t have to break in little pieces to fit into our small stove top steamer.Game changers. If you ever water-bath canned and gave iPad or few tired Of the water bathProcesses, try this steamer. Even though I have all the extra canning tools that came with this steamCanner, It is alway worth it to have extras.
