I put off buying this ladle for far too long because I was "getting by" with old plastic ladles. THAT WAS JUST PLAIN STUPID OF ME. This is BETTER IN EVERY WAY. It will not damage ANY type of cookwear.It is larger volume. It is silicone so food doesn't stick and comes absolutely clean in the dishwasher. THIS IS THE VERY BEST LADLE MADE.

Se suele manchar con los líquidos oscuros, hay que ponerlo a reposar con vinagre para evitar el manchado permanente.

I've collected ladles over the years and nothing compares to this. It's silicone so you can push it down to get the last drop yet strong enough to hold a full load of the heaviest stews. I love it especially when I'm filling freezer containers because it is designed to have fit with its narrower shape instead of being totally round. It's takes about 3 to 3-1/2 ladles to fill a 32 ounce container -- so it holds a really good serving amount. This is a favourite in my kitchen.

It's hard to find a good, deep ladle, especially if you've been shifting to silicone tools in the kitchen, for compatibility with ceramic cookware. There are lots of fairly shallow "ladles" that annoy me; I might as well be using a big shallow spoon. But this fits the bill perfectly. I love it.
