These are professional-grade straps and hardware. If you've ever used them, you know that the end (that goes into the track) can be hard to compress on some. Not these. Maybe old ones are difficult as a result of time and dirt, but these work as they should, easily pressing in to latch into a track. The ratchets work perfectly too, smooth and with a telling click. Again, they're brand-new, so that's what we should expect. But I've used some cheap ratchet straps from a nationwide trailer & tool supply chain that were not as nice as these. These, I suspect, will last many years if cared for properly.I cannot tell any difference between these and other ratchet straps that cost much more. And for anyone who got these thinking they were the type with a hook, you can get hooks to use in place of the e-track. Search for 2" wire hooks here on Amazon or elsewhere. A wire hook slips on over the loop in the strap and sits right next to the e-track connector.

These are some really darn heavy-duty ratchet straps! I picked these up to help my in-laws with a move they're making across the country, using a 26-foot box truck that they purchased for the purpose. The whole back is lined with E-track, so these ratchet straps are absolutely ideal for the purpose. The E-track attachments are good and solid, they fit just like the others we have, and the ratchet mechanism is heavy and gives no feeling of weakness at all. The wider strap, even if you don't need the increased breaking strength, has a significant advantage in that it spreads out the load over a wider area than a 1" strap, so you're less likely to scrub through moving blankets and the like. These feel darn solid, and I would have no hesitation to use them strapping down larger loads as well, I'm virtually certain you'd rip the E-track off the walls well before these straps failed!

I'm very pleased with these track-style ratchet straps from my experience so far. The 4,500 lb breaking strength matches well for hauling ATVs, utilitiy vehicles, compact tractors, mowers, etc, etc. The build quality seems good and the 20' length gives you plenty to work with.I also like the fact that these come in an 8-pack so if you need several of them you can just keep these with your trailer and know you've got plenty for any occasion. I know a lot of people like to haul multiple ATVs, UVs, or dirt bikes for weekend get-togethers and an 8-pack of these would be perfect for that purpose. The price for eight is also a good value in my opinion. My only advice is to make sure you know these are TRACK style ratchet straps and NOT the hook style. You'll either need to already have track style rails in/on your trailer or you'll have to install them in order to use these straps. If you're looking for track-style straps then these are definitely worth considering.
