For bobbin loading: make sure its a number 9, and pull the thread forward through thr ridge.....it's so easy to change the thread when you know how! Thank god for youtube. But the machine itself-fantastic!!! We've made barbie dresses, I've used it to stitch up the waist on my daughters trousers, and lots if real crafts! Kids love having a play too. Fantastic, bought another as a gift for an 8 year old and she loves it. Batteries have lasted quite a while, which was something I was worried about as its not mains operated, but as a result it's super portable!!!
