The hinge is not center which leaves very little meat at the top buy the cutting edge. This also stops the jaws opening as wide as they should. I would not think they would last 25 years like the pair they are meant to be replacing.

Difícil acreditar que a Klein irá jogar fora toda sua história e tradição na fabricação de ferramentas de qualidade. Comprei esse alicate ano passado, fabricação USA. Pedi uma segunda peça, porém recebi um Made in México. Acabamento pior que um MTX que custa 1/10 do preço. Pior folga na aresta de corte que já vi em um alicate. Se me oferecerem de graça este alicate não vou aceitar. Lastimável.

although they are a lighter weight than my 50 yr old Klein sidecutters they are still good quality and I like the addition of the crimper added, and they do cut wire very well.Thank you.

I trust Klein Tools as I've been using my Lineman's pliers for several years and still haven't failed me. However, this 8" Universal Combination Pliers was a bit uncomfortable because of imperfect craftsmanship. You need both hands to open it as it tight and not smooth as my other Klein plier. Other than that, it's like cutting a butter which I like and light to use.
