Initially bought the Heupar for my Makita laser-found the quality inferior and too combersome to set up with all the parts. I looked more and and came across the Klein model and for the price found it to be far superior. The packaging is great and they’ve paid attention to detail, specifically the laser mount. The legs extend nicely and the levers operate easily. It does come with a tote bag. I’m impressed and love the simplicity of it, & the color-it’s not black or grey. This is nice enough to work with your camera if your not setting tile. Work is hard enough and when you have tools like this to compliment what you do it makes them that much sweeter!

Decent tripod. It's held up for now, but the legs do feel really light and thin, will probly hold up as long as the legs don't take a beating.

UPDATE: Klein Tools has confirmed that they do not carry any replacement parts for this tripod. If you lose the quick adapter plate to connect your device to the tripod, you are out of luck unless you can find a third party seller who sells the equivalent part. The Klein Tools 69345 Tripod is a good deal for the price with only a few minor flaws. It's light, easy and quick to set up and take down, precise height adjustment of the head support shaft and it has a good height adjustment range. All of the other adjustments work well too. The tripod also comes with a very nice carrying bag.The most significant flaw is the crank handle for raising and lowering the head - it feels really flimsy, to the point where you want to use it carefully to make sure it does not break.Another flaw, but more minor, is the size of the locking knobs to fix the position of the tripod's head. They are a bit on the small size and require significantly more effort to operate than the large knobs, say, on my Manfrotto tripod. The last issue I have is related to Klein Tools, not the tripod itself. Aside from listing the product on their website, there is no reference there at all for spare/replacement parts for the unit, and that has me concerned. In particular, it only comes with one quick release plate to adapt your laser or other device to the tripod head. I would want to order a couple of spares, especially because the plate is an odd size (43mm x 35 mm) and I could not find a generic replacement for it listed on Amazon. I have submitted a support request to Klein to find out how to obtain replacement parts.
