Great quality metal construction. Both the phone app and hardware were easy to install, and came up immediately, with no fuss. I used it immediately to look up potential arcing in outlets. (didn't find any) Next i used it to look for thermal leaks around doors. I have hot water heating and used it to follow the copper lines in the walls and under concrete. It's a great tool, and i come up with new uses almost daily.

Durable case, camera works well even in extremely climate conditions. Fits around otter box phone case which is very convenient.

Práctica, se sincroniza al telefono al instante, las imagenes tomadas son faciles de compartir, evité un fallo electrico en mi trabajo por calor debido a falsos contactos, termografia basica.El equipo es básico, los parametros de temperatura medidos no son exactos... por su precio y practicidad vale lo que cuesta.No pidas más de lo que un equipo profesional y de mas alto valor te puede dar. Excelente inversion, recomendado.

Incredibly simple and intuitive. Once you plug it in, it takes you to the App Store to download the necessary app, and will automatically bring it up any subsequent time the device is plugged in. It’s not as robust or high-definition as other products on the market, but for quick and easy use, it’s great. It helps me determine active moisture leaks, insulation levels, air leakage, duct/hydronic pipe efficiency or blockage, all within seconds without having to go back out to the truck to get my $1500 FLIR handheld. I just keep this in my pocket and it tells me what I need to know on the spot.

This thing works great, excellent tool for a controls tech. Find duct leakage, troubleshoot overheating components on a board, check discharge temps and sometimes even diffuser throw. It's decently fast once it initially loads and it's range is pretty good too so long as you get the emissivity setting correct. App automatically opens when you connect the device which is cool too.That said, the adapter sucks. It has to be plugged in just right and if you bump it wrong, the camera disconnects. Which takes a good 30 seconds to reconnect after that happens. I read reviews saying it doesn't work with a case which may have been true with a previous design, but I have a fairly heavy duty case and it works fine. The second downside is that the plastic carrying case is not super solid. I wouldn't trust it on my keys, I keep it on an interior zipper in my backpack.Altogether, I would say if you frequently use an infrared thermometer, you would probably benefit from this. Reliable, accurate, and cheaper than options with built in cameras.

The camera works okay so far. The case is irritatingly cheap and falls open all the time. The camera can then fall out and get scratched. Klein is just addicted to making garbage I guess.
