All of the good reviews about this fan are accurate. Powerful fan. Moves a lot of air. Great white noise!

The only con is it is bit noisy, kinda sounds like a small air craft taking off. This fan it does push out a lot of air even on low and you can easily carry and mount it to different surfaces.

I like the fact that most all thing purchased from Amazon offer returns within 30 days. Some items are free picked up from the address they were delivered to and some products may cost $7.99 to return but never the less returnable. I read most reviews for the exact fan I purchased. I agree with most reviews it does move alot of air. But even on lowest speed setting it's noisy. Full speed and it's just flat out loud. Normal communication would be a challenge when running the fan on high speed and being anywhere around it. So Deluxe, the fan company is located in Irwindale California. Comparable prices with Amazon and same 30 day return window. Between me and you all I am going to reach out to them and will update my review accordingly. When I received my fan and first ran it it han a noticable out of balance issue in the blade area. Anytime I would turn the fan on or off the balance issue could be heard and seen while looking at the blades. One or two of the blades was out of alignment so today as part of my preventative maintenance program at my house I wanted to wipe down the blades, noticed accumulation of dust on the leading edge of all three blades. Also wiped off any dust particles on the front guard and back guards. My point is this- the center hub of the fam blade assembly is pretty solid and it appears blade pitch stems from the center hub. I have provided a few images of the fan blades and specifically the mounting point where each blade is riveted to that sturdy feeling hub. Three rivets per blade seams adequate and all rivets hold the blades solidly in position.Back to my point- the hub provides solid support of each blade just past the three rivets.I've circled in red each blade exactly where the hub "support" ends for each blade. If you look close each blade has a line or bend where the hub stops. Notice each crease or bend or line in each blade is noticable but one blade has less of that bend, crease or line. It's not that important to understand what I'm talking about so here is what I've just learned, the blades are easily bendable, even when wiping off dust with a damp wash cloth the blade should be supported with your other hand so it doesn't end up out of shape. The indented swoosh thing acts like a rib and provides support of the blade. The blades are made of very flexible metal and will end up out of alignment if the blade is simply pushed on to wipe off dust.Granted maybe I'm the only one that has one fan blade different than the other two. This possibly occured during the shipping process. Bending the blade back so the San rotated smooth was easy enough. Like comment follow if you wish.

I have been looking for a nice fan for years. I have had this fan for about a week now and use it every night, all night.1. Well-built.2. Moves a ton of air!3. Makes a lot of white noise which I need for sleeping.4. Only 2 drawbacks that I see are (1) The power cord is pretty short - maybe a few feet, and (2) You have to make sure the screw and nut stays tight at the bottom, otherwise you might get a rattle sound.1-MONTH UPDATE: Still works great, but I need to add 1 more drawback: When I plugged the fan into a power strip, the motor got hot and smelled like it within 1 hour of running on low. When it's plugged into the wall directly, no problems. I am NOT an expert in electricity, so my power strip might be bad, not grounded, etc. That was just my experience - so I would stick with only plugging it into the wall outlet, and not a power strip.

This is a good air mover on low. On high in a window/doorway it will cycle my 960sf house quickly. It's a bit loud though. Glad I have it. Cheaper to run than an AC unit.

Those who wrote that the tone was awful are right. However, as a drummer this is perfect. I don't need - and can't - hear it anyhow when I play. Easy to use and very compact. Nice little unit.

This is great for running - super light, small, clip stays put even when running, easy to use and rechargeable. Can't beat it for the price. Volume has only 2 settings (loud or softer) but that should work for most applications.
