I have wanted a set of steel interchangeable needles for years. I read a lot of reviews to help me decide which brand to go with, and I was surprised to find that many people preferred the most affordable ones. I also type all day and knit a lot, so my wrists are starting to bother me a bit. These needles are wonderful! Very comfortable to use, and I like the way the cubed shaft of the needle creates a combination effect. The tip of the needle is very fast but the shape of the needle provides just enough resistance to keep the work from sliding all over. This paired with the easier grasp eliminates a lot of the extra motion when knitting and is much more comfortable on the wrists. Changing needles/cables is quick and easy, and the join is seamless and smooth and will not snag yarn. You may need to check to make sure the needle is not coming unscrewed as you work, but this doesn't bother me--a quick twist and it's fine--but I also suspect this will vary from knitter to knitter depending on how you grasp and work. I have to watch my left needle but not the right so much, for instance. I'm also a "thrower" so someone with a smoother style may not have that issue. Very, very pleased and highly recommend.

Les comparto las imágenes de referencia del producto para que tengan mayor visibilidad.La verdad este set es un encanto, se siente y se ve la calidad en cada una de las piezas.Respecto al precio, inmejorable. Había estado buscando en otros lugares y Amazon fue donde lo encontré más barato.

My first time using cubic straight needles. Doing the pouch on an adult Wallaby sweater, even stitches, the yarn slides nicely.

I wanted to try these to reduce hand and wrist fatigue. They feel good in the hand and are comfortable to use with a nice point that isn't too sharp. The surface is super slick, so I wouldn't recommend them for someone new to double pointed needles. The sock yarn I was using liked to slide right out of the stitches. The set is definitely gift worthy to someone who uses small needles, but I wish the case was a bit nicer. It's a thicker clear plastic, so I'm not sure how durable it will be over time.

...as always. Just remember that because Cubics are measured on the diagonal, they are not really the same size as round needles of the same measurement. If a pattern calls for US 8/5mm needles, with Cubics, you will likely need to go up to US 9/5.5mm needles to get the proper gauge--unless, of course, you knit very loosely. I, for one, am happy with my purchase of this set. The case I received was not made of black fabric as pictured--it's not fabric and it has a metallic sheen--but it opens and closes just fine, so I don't mind.
