These make a perfect English muffin sized egg puck, as long as you use a lid on the pan. Otherwise the top of the egg doesn’t cook all the way.

These are, by far, the best silicone rings I’ve ever used. Best used in a completely flat pan to avoid leakage but even then, leakage was minimal.

I use them in the microwave. Eggs are great in them and perfect size for sandwiches.

These silicone moulds are fantastic for making eggs for bagels or English muffins. I sprayed each on the inside with cooking spray and put them on a medium hot pan and I had no trouble with the eggs leaking from under the moulds. I used them with the thick part down on the pan, which makes a little wider and thinner egg, but they look like you can use them with the thin-side down to make a thinner, taller egg.

These are very nice rings. I bought mine primarily for making eggs for breakfast sandwiches. The walls are thicker at the base and are quite heavy overall. Each ring weighs 40.4g. By comparison, my larger 4” diameter (but 1/4” shorter) Trudeau Reversible Egg Ring with handle weighs only 34g and is much more flexible. The silicone seems more dense and rigid than many other silicone kitchen products — almost like natural rubber. This heavier construction really helps the rings retain their shape and to sit flat in the pan. I get no meaningful leakage, although by practice, I pour a small amount in to start, then add the rest. This helps create a seal. I don’t have a problem with the lack of a handle. I just use tongs or a spatula. By the way, the walls begin to taper about 1/4” above the base, narrowing from about 5/16” to 3/32”. It is the outside of the wall that tapers, though. The inside walls are straight.I also want to point out that the various sets are different diameters, not just different colors. I bought the three-color 3+” set, a size that’s surprisingly uncommon. They could probably contain a second egg, but I haven’t tried.I wish these were available in smaller quantities, like competing products. I’ll probably end up giving away four of the six.
