Durability…these are solid, but any of this type of container will crack if you drop them when full. I try not to do that. Sturdiness…the locking tabs are solid and close well. Any of the Biokips containers that I have close solidly. Sheerness…??? Did not rate…these are not panty hose. They are clear and product is clearly visible through container. These are long enough that both Tinkyada brand fettuccini and the boxed brands of spaghetti by Catelli and Barilla pasta will fit. Tinkyada brand long goods are a bit longer than the other two boxed brands I have mentioned, so to fit them in comfortably you may need to un-bag them. You can fit two unopened boxes of the boxed long goods into the container. These containers have enough volume that they can fit 3 opened boxes of Catelli or Barilla long goods easily. The containers can fit 2 bags of Tinkyada brand short goods (macaroni and shells). If unboxing or un-bagging the pasta, it would be an idea to clip the cooking instructions and Brand/product info and place in the top of the container. I have noticed quite a variance in cooking times for different shapes and brands.I have 4 of these containers…2 acquired locally which informed me of what I need to look for on line for the other 2. Two containers have long goods and the other two have the short goods. I decided to use the same shape/size container for all the pasta so that they fit neatly into the pantry drawer, stacked in two lots.Good purchase.

These clear lasagna/spaghetti storage boxes are the best idea ever! They are rectangular, stack, and sit flat on the shelf, unlike the round, vertical spaghetti containers that seem to stay unbalanced and fall over, which incidentally prompted a whole pantry reorganization. These airtight, stackable containers lay flat and don't tip over. Mine hold at least 2# spaghetti or lasagna (depending on thickness & placed flat, not on the side) in each box. They will also hold the spaghetti that's already been cut in half. FWIW, haven't found this exact or similar container locally. Floppy boxes gone, can see food quantity, a bit of shelf space gained, and worth the price.

This is exactly what I was looking for to hold spaghetti and fettuccini – holds a good amount, stackable, looks good, and fits well into pantry. Really happy with the purchase. The bigger part of this review is the service. When I received my package, 1 of the lids was damaged. Not sure if it was shipping or came that way, but regardless, things happen. I reached out to the company via Amazon and mentioned the broken lid. I asked if they could send me a new one so that I didn’t have to return the full set and repurchase. The responded first thing Monday morning and send me a new lid via 1st class delivery. New lid on the set looks great!

As we all know spaghetti comes in a plastic bag. So when Im in the pantry trying to get me some for dinner, I usually end up spilling some strands on the floor. Its the worst. Because then I usually end up stepping on them and they break into tiny spaghettini pieces. And if Im in a hurry i just leave the bits on the floor. Eventually those bits find their way around the house. So when shopping on Amazon I happened to come across these. I didnt care for the blue rim around the lid as I didn't want my pantry to look like an acid trip. I prefer neutral tones like Clear black or brown. But I shoved my reservations aside and bought them. They arrived quickly in the mail so that was good for the post man. Nobody likes to see a angry red head. I opened the box and cringed at the colour. No its not vibrant. But its colour. Then i opened up my husbands spaghetti bags and put it and low and behold they fit perfect. I was able to get in about two 900 gram bags in one container. You get two Products so it holds a lot of strings. It seems pretty well made so no complaints there. Its not a clear plastic like i would prefer. But it is lengthwise which is unique as most spaghetti containers are upright. This means these ones are stackable. I may buy more to put other items in. If I can get past the blue colour....

Good quality and I like the way the storage jars stack. They were spot on for size. Have kept them out on the kitchen worktop and can reach for pasta at any time.
