Acerca de este artículo

  • Don't Settle For Cheap Knockoffs! Look for the logo. Buy the pro level Kotaro Kendama. If it doesnâ€t have the KK logo, it isnâ€t a real Kotaro.
  • Named After Fuma Kotaro, the Legendary Ninja Clan Leader in Ancient Japan. . Ninjas are known for their agility and speed. Do you have the eye hand coordination to use the Kotaro Kendama?
  • Full Sized Bamboo Kendama. Donâ€t be tricked into buying a tiny one that isnâ€t any good.
  • Replaceable String. Kendama strings are like yoyo strings. They wear out! Be sure to buy extras so you can replace them if they get dirty, knotted or frayed. Each kendama includes 1 extra string to get you started!
  • Traditional 7.25" size from top to bottom when ball is on the spike. Handle is 6 1/4" from bottom to tip of spike. Spike is approximately 1 1/2"

If you're looking for the BEST bamboo kendama on the market, buy the Kotaro Kendama brand. Made of laminated bamboo parts, Kotaro Kendamas are designed for high level kendama play.
With enough practice, you'll be doing all your favorite tricks like Oozara (big cup), Kozara (small cup), Chuuzara (base cup) and Rousoku (candle). Use grips like the Sara (or Pen) Grip, the Ken Grip, the Tama Grip or the Rousoku Grip.
The deluxe Kotaro Kendama comes with a bamboo ball (the tama or dama), a pre-strung length of string, and the Ken, or handle with three cups. Also comes with one extra string!
Improve your hand eye coordination, speed up your reflexes and improve your balancing techniques. As you learn how to use the kendama better and better, you'll build skills like patience and focus and enter the magical state of flow.
What else makes the Kotaro Kendama better?
Bamboo seems like wood, but it's actually a grass! It grows back extremely quickly, so it's very sustainable.
Manufactured in Asia by a toy company that has been in business making bamboo and wooden toys for 14 years.
Extremely stable handle. Nice, deep and perfectly angled cups.
Laser engraved logo.
Ages 12 and up.

Pésimo producto, solo mantiene medio tibio el líquido y nunca caliente. Lo usé por hora y media aproximadamente unas 5 ocasiones y hoy ya no funcionó.

Like some others, I became curious when I saw a kendama in a TV show. At the time this one was selling for $10, which seemed (just) worth trying. I’m glad I did. There are a lot of much more complicated (and expensive) kendamas out there, but for a casual user like me, who just wants to improve their hand eye coordination, this small, unpainted kendama is perfect. Out of curiosity, I actually bought a Kendama USA piece, with much larger cups, a longer string, and special paint, but I prefer this one. If you want to perform the many impressive advanced tricks, you’ll probably want a fancy kendama. But I’m happy tossing the tama between cups, spiking, and the occasional “airplane.”

For the price, this kendama toy is extremely well made and great! I have had other kendama toys in the past and this was the first one that I got that was mainly bamboo. The other kendama toys had paint that would chip off after repeated use, but this one is smooth and looks is as good as new even after a couple of months of use, which is a definitive positive. It's a pretty typical kendama toy, but it's very durable and can do a wide variety of tricks, making it a perfect gift for beginners. The only problems would be that the bamboo is rough at some points, especially in the interior of the cups, and the string isn't necessarily the best quality, but for the price, it's well worth it. Using it is challenging, but the tricks are completely do-able after some practice. It's a fun way to spend some time, particularly for kids, and a toy that I recommend for anyone who is interested.

Highly recommended! We bought two of these for Christmas gifts, for a 12-year-old boy and 10-year-old-girl. The bamboo is very resilient to the constant collisions that are inevitable, and the string has shown no signs of weakening either. There isn't much else to say about the physical characteristics, but the entertainment factor was more than I expected. No exaggeration, the kids spent at least a couple of hours playing with these every day for the next week, and the whole family still plays with them 3 months later. They sit in the living room and will catch my eye every so often and I just have to try again. Guests enjoy trying their hand at it as well. It doesn't take long before you start getting the hang of it and getting cocky. The family all thought we were doing pretty well until my Japanese sister-in-law decided to embarrass us. :) Of course, searching online for videos of people playing will make you feel even less skillful. I highly recommend it though—you will be amazed at the talent and inspired to keep practicing.
