I'm going to start off by saying I really like this flatware organizer. It works very well for me. My flatware consists of a mix of two sets, one of which originally had enough pieces for four informal place settings (salad fork, main course fork, knife, teaspoon, soup spoon), the other for eight informal place settings, and some random utility pieces like peelers, measuring spoons, etc. I don't have enough kitchen drawers for everything that needs to go in them, so for years, my flatware has been sitting on a tea cart in an open organizer that sat atop a bin filled with larger utensils like meat forks, ladles, and serving spoons. The balance was getting precarious as I acquired more of the larger utensils, and after several avalanches, I decided it was time to do some reorganization. I decided to move the larger utensils to a pair of free-standing, cylindrical organizers (reviewed separately), and I wanted a covered flatware organizer that I could temporarily place things on when necessary. This Kurberson Double Layer model seemed to be just the ticket, and it hasn't let me down.The organizer looks compact, but has a surprising amount of room inside. That said, it's not suitable for large utensils at all (which is why I also bought the cylindrical organizers), and you can really only stack your forks, spoons, etc. about 6 high without them interfering with closing the lid or the side drawer. But the sections inside the organizer have plenty of lateral space, so you can have two stacks of flatware in each, although you may have to oppose their directions to make both stacks fit in a section. Thus, my organizer is able to hold all my flatware and smaller utility pieces - it all just fits. I love the side drawer. I put my less-used pieces in there. My tea cart does have raised ridges at the periphery of each shelf, though, so I needed to place a wood plank under my organizer to enable me to open the drawer without picking the whole thing up. Also, the whole thing is plastic on plastic; there are no drawer glides, so it's necessary to use two hands to open the side drawer.I decided to dock this organizer one star because the title and listing both describe it as a "drawer organizer". I think that's a stretch, because you could really only use it in a long, wide kitchen drawer - at least 21 inches wide - because the organizer's built-in drawer pulls out of its side and needs somewhere to go. The kitchen drawer would need to be almost that long, too, because the cover is hinged at the back and needs room to swing up. Constantly taking it out of the drawer in order to open the organizer would get old pretty fast. So, I think it's best suited for situations like mine, where your flatware needs to sit on a countertop, cart, table or some other surface.

La tapa es muy útil para evitar polvo, el compartimiento de abajo es práctico para no hacer mucho espacio pero almacenar más

I think this will work perfect in our camper to keep bugs, dust, etc off the clean silverware. We leave our camper on our remote property and don’t want to worry about critters on the eating utensils! We haven’t used it yet, but it’s pretty sturdy and secure.

We don't have a drawer suitable for flatware in our kitchen. I had a regular tray, but my not-so-tidy husband tended to spill things, and it grossed me out. This works perfectly! It keeps our utensils clean, and it's easy to open. The bottom section is handy for things we don't use as often.

Andaba buscando algo así ya que yo los almacenaba en una caja de plástico cualquiera, era muy inpractico y no está bonito, me gustó el color, la tapa transparente y que tiene un compartimiento extra que se deslisa, es de tamaño mediano para cucharas, tenedores y cuchillos, los materiales se sienten duraderos y de calidad, ya se cayó una vez y no pasó ni un raspón.
