This is a stunning bowl for matcha making. beautifully crafted and clearly high quality. You can feel the craftsmanship just by holding it. Made in Japan, it also comes thoughtfully packaged, making it a great gift option for any matcha enthusiast.One detail to note is the glaze and finish. It has a slightly decorative cracked appearance that I didn’t notice in the pictures at first. It’s subtle and adds to the charm, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re particular about finishes.Overall, I absolutely love this bowl and would highly recommend it. It’s both functional and a piece of art!

This bowl looks really pretty and while very smooth has nice crinkled details of paint up close that I really like. Color of blue is just like the picture and it is glazed except for the bottom ring/base of the bowl that has a rougher unpainted feel. Nice size and wonderful shape, would recommend if you like the style.

I honestly didn't know what to expect when I ordered this, but wow this thing is nice.The packaging is gift-level, too.I got it for my wife. Immediately after opening it she put a house plant in it.I didn't say a word.I wasn't thinking house plant, but...This bowl could be used for a multitude of things. It's up to the person who owns bowl.Bottom line is that this is a beautiful piece of craft.

A nice bowl, heavy pottery, nicely balanced and a lovely color.What it shows is what you get, so if you like what you see, it's strongly recommended. I want one of every color.
