Purchased for my 8 y/o’s loft bed as he enjoys reading up on his bed. This has been perfect as the light dims and brightens easily by the switch on the cord. He has used as a night light also at the dim setting. The clip is perfect for the loft rail and the height is easily moved. Was a fair price and good quality.

It is very functional. The only downside is not as bright as the clamp spotlight from the Swiss furniture big brand, if you compare the wattage , this product uses double the wattage but produces half the brightness ( I owned both products). It also gets quite warm. So in the end , this little lamp is not bright enough as a desk lamp, but still very good lamp for other purposes.

September 15, 2024Bought one to test it out. Bought two more after bench test and burn in. One used to clip to top of desktop computer monitors to illuminate desk surface and keyboard; another clipped to shelf to illuminate keyboard and desktop where ceiling lights are not bright enough; another clipped on shelving unit shining down to illuminate audio electronic gear operation. All applications worked as intended and solved the problem.This is a quality purchase at an affordable price. A general purpose handy light fixture where ever additional light is needed. Clip is very sturdy and jaw opening is generous to accommodate a thick clipping overhang. Gooseneck is flexible and holds its position securely.Clips on your laptop screen or desktop monitor for either desk illumination or lighting for video conferencing. Because of diffused quality of light, it serves as a soft light for flattering faces without harsh shadows.Also, with ten different intensity settings and three color temperatures, you can select the proper light color to match the ambient light in the room for consistent color matching in video conferencing.If you buy two lights, you can position them on either side, pointed at you, 45 degrees off center, and use one as the "key" light and the other one, at a lower intensity, for the "fill" light, to create the illusion of depth in the conferencing image.These lights are a much better solution than normal "ring" lights, which usually give off harsh shadows and create ugly ring light reflections on people who wear eye glasses in conferences.All in all, a well designed and quality product at a price under $12 at the time of this review.

Sería perfecta si conservara la carga, pero sólo funciona conectándose a la toma eléctrica.Fuera de eso es ideal para leer, tiene una intensidad adecuada y tres tonalidades distintas, luz cálida, luz fría y una azul tenue.El brazo es muy flexible.En general tiene buen aspecto, es una lámpara bonita y funcional.
