These skates did not meet my expectations at all. I was disappointed in the quality of the skate boot. There was no padding around the ankle/leg at all. Too uncomfortable in my opinion.

This is a basic skate but in all the right ways. Provides support and comfort to learn how to skate. I always recommend with any skate to wear above the ankle socks so the foot has good support and in these you will definitely need to wear a long thick sock for cushion since it is not fleece lined. Overall a great skate for the price!
