I like to write with this -- smooth, great weight and balance, nice to hold in one's hand.

Writing and signing is still part of the everyday experience especially when you’re taking notes, signing documents or a personal message or card. This pen is a pleasure to hold and write. I’ve actually received compliments and others noticed and asked to try it.

Fue un regalo y gusto muchísimo. Diseño elegante y moderno. Dependiendo del vendedor revisar si tiene tarifas de importación que puede impactar bastante en el precio.

Two stars...I loved the pen right out of the box for its appearance. Beautiful, clean lines, feels great in my hand, lightweight but still substantial. What I found disappointing was the ink flow from the cartridge; blotchy and irregular, with lots of skips and voids. It’s not exactly conducive to a smooth thought process as one writes. I thought I’d try to get a fine point refill, but there is simply not one to be found. I know I love the flow of a Schmidt 888 fine point refill, so I doctored up a stilt to fit inside the Lamy and hold the better refill. I’m handy and prepared to do such things, but $75 was a lot of money for a terrible ink flow. I almost returned it.

I already own a couple of Lamy rollerball pens which I like very much. I decided to buy the Studio roller ball to go with my Studio fountain pen. It was an excellent decision. The Safari is a nice pen but for my taste a bit light weight. The Studio pens are metal and have a bit more heft to them. Most importantly however is the Lamy roller ball filler. I am impressed all over again each time I use this pen. I have been using fountain pens all the time for the past year. However there are times when you need a pen that you can press down on to make duplicates and the Lamy pen more than satisfies. It has the smooth effortless action I associate with fountain pens, but can be more versatile when the need comes up.I am completely satisfied and while I hope I never lose or have to replace this pen, if I do, I know that I will be purchasing the same pen as a replacement.
