(13.5 cm) long, logger into your computer's USB port, name it, choose your required sampling rate, select high and low alarms if required, and set the logger start time. Once configured, the logger can be removed from the computer to log independently. Data is downloaded back onto the PC where it can be analyzed and viewed as a graph using the included, EasyLog, software. Although not pictured, a thermistor probe is included and attaches to the phono plug at the base of the unit. Probe length is about 3-ft (1.0 m) in length. The LCD display allows you to cycle through current temperature, and minimum and maximum recorded. Stand alone data logger stores up to 32,510 time and date stamped temperature readings, and supplied long-life lithium battery allows continuous logging for about a year. The battery was too weak when I received this unit. Once a new battery was installed, it worked fine. This unit meets my expectation.
