I wanted something to put on my metal shelf where we keep our phones as the vibration gets really irritating. This tape helped a little bit but not as much as I was hoping. It doesn't really grip anything either as this tape isn't rubber at all but some sort of plastic. I wouldn't want to use this as a grip tape for anything as its stiff and uncomfortable.I will say that it is extremely sticky so it is going to stick to whatever you put it on for a very long time.

I am using pieces of this tape on the sides and back of a rather slippery handheld audio recorder. It provides exactly the right amount of friction, but does not feel nasty or sticky. The feel is actually rather nice. And it seems to be sticking well.

I love all sorts of tape. When I saw the LAZTZQ Rubber Grip Tape 2in x 16.4Ft, Featuring Enhanced Textured Super Strong Adhesive tape, I instantly ordered it as I have a few items around the house that need to have more grip and less slip.My current one at home I use for everything is gaffer's tape. It also is great for making slippery items like remote controls less slippery. As I get older I drop things that are slippers. A lot! Rather than admit defeat and succumb to the shame of senior moments, I try to improve items so they are easier to grip and hold. This tape is more ridgid than gaffers tape an dhas a unique attractive diamont pattern that almost looss like carbon fiber. I did'nt even try using it on tools with slinder handles like my rubber mallet nad household hammer. Instead I chose to do the back of all my remotes and they are the worst culpril for being too slippery. Was nice they included sscissors with the tape. Unfortunately didn't cut very well so I used my own left handed scissors I bought on amazon 20+ years ago. Will save scissors that came with the set for emergencies or to loan out instead of my good scissors.Back to the remotes. I peeled off the gaffer's tape I had on them before and cleaned the surface with rubbing alconol. Then I took the gaffer's tape as a template and cut the exact same shape out of the rubber grip tape. The fact that is is much stiffer than the gaffer's tape and doesn't flop around makes it much easier to cut and handle. Only thing I modified over the gaffer tape template is I made a separate piece for the battery door so I wouldn't have to peel off the tape every time I chang the batteries. With tape installed, I burnished and smoothed out the tape to eleiminate any bubblues or irregularties on the surface. Looking at the finished product, it's more attractive than the gaffer's tape I used before and feels great in my hand, I wasn't going to, but I just might do the back of my iphone 8 plus next! My phone is more slippery than a wet bar of soap!Anyhow, I'd buy tape again for projects needing more grip that are flatter in nature. IMHO won't work for tennis or pickeball racket grips - need something more flexible and padded for those items.Highly recommended!

I'm a big fan of grip tape, and I've tried so many. From sandy granular to soft rubber, to everything in between. This grip tapes claims to be rubber, but it's certainly NOT RUBBER. While it has a pliable tape backing, it's more like extruded polymer on the grip side. Maybe even a polymer/rubber hybrid matrix, with emphasis on polymer. This particular tape is unlike ALL the others in this category. It is NOT super pliable like many other grip tapes, it is fairly rigid which is a positive and a negative depending on its application. If you need a grip tape that needs some rigidity and longer lasting surface, less apt to wear, this is what you want. But if your buying it to put on a tennis racket or such, this isn't the best for that purpose. Applications that lay flat might work best.Still a decent product.I added a picture of my favorite soft grip tape next to this product for comparison.(eSports Pro Grip rubber grip tape) The soft grip tape is for better for game controllers and tennis racket grips. But its not sold in rolls, I buy it in 3x5" sheets.PS, it's nice this came with scissors, but their kind of cheap, and don't cut all that well. Not a fan of the scissors, but the tape is great for jobs that need a rigid type.
