To hold my pot lids

This stand fits many of my Le Creuset cookware pieces, but it will NOT fit the most used lid in my kitchen, the 5qt brazier lid. I use the 5qt Brasier for most of my large oven meals. The huge, heavy lid is always in the way during prep. I was thrilled to see a Le Creuset lid stand, but there is no description for which lids fit and which don't. The 5qt Brasier lid does not. Another issue to think about: These are heavy cast iron lids. If one is dropped or slips off the stand, there could be counter damage. Be careful placing and removing all lids. Also, place the lid where nobody can bump into it. One bump and a heavy lid hits the floor, leaving a mark. Being careful with this wonderful cookware will make the buyer happy. Careless? Not so much.

I thought it could only hold lids of smaller pots but in fact, it can be used for bigger pots too. It can even hold the lid of Le Creuset 30cm Buffet Casserole, but need to hold it against the wall. I also use it for LC 29cm oval and my Staub 24cm round.

陶器だから漬物石みたいに重いのかなと思っていましたが、中は空洞なので思ったよりは重くなかったです。使い勝手はよいですし気に入っていますが、使用するイコール洗い物が増えることになるので、それがおっくうに感じる方にはおすすめしないです。洗うのは簡単ですがそれなりに大きいため場所をとるので、使ったらその後の片づけが面倒くさいな…と思ってしまう時がありました。蓋を置く場所に困りたくない方には非常におすすめです。でも洗い物から片付けの手間を増やしたくない、という方は買っても使わなくなりそうな可能性が高いです。

凄い存在感あふれる品です。つまり、大きくてお丈夫そうですよ。今のところ飾るというよりは実用しています。鍋蓋から出る水を受ける布巾を用意されると吹く手間が省けるかな。これも琺瑯なので使用後は乾燥を心がけています。鍋蓋は熱いｲﾒｰｼﾞがあって私的には、もう少ししっかりとﾎｰﾙﾄﾞされると嬉しい。
