This is okay. I think the boards are too big for little hands. For some reason I pictured more boards. One string came without the tip so it is useless.

It’s my fault for not checking what the boards are made of, but charging this much for cardboard is not pleasant. There are 3 lacing boards (cardboard) and 9 laces that barely pass through the holes. The cardboard is not very thick and will easily be destroyed by a toddler. Typically LR has good quality products, but there seems to be some issues with the latest releases.

These Learning Laces weren't quite as entertaining and easy to play with for my almost 4 year old as I was hoping for, but they still offered us some educational busy time, with even my almost 2 year old joining in.First the pros: The boards are quite sturdy, with bold, bright colors and educational shapes, colors, and numbers. The laces are strong, with nice plastic ends to help them thread through the holes.Cons: The laces aren't very slippery and while this help to keep them in place nicely, they're really quite difficult to pull all the way through the holes. My oldest daughter kept not quite pulling them through far enough, which would lead to frustration because her lace wouldn't be long enough any more. My two year old was able to thread the end into the holes, but didn't have the coordination to pull hard enough to extend the string all the way through.I have no complaints with the quality or the value, however my daughter lost interest very quickly. This isn't to say your kiddos will do the same though!
