Bought this dock to replace the universal dock I was given by my employer. I wanted a dock that could properly power my laptop and support three monitors. I just installed this dock today, so I'm not able to speak of longevity or stability, but I will update this review if I encounter any issues.Likes:This dock works well, immediately picking up all three displays at full resolution. (I used both DP ports and the HDMI.) The dock came out of the box with the latest firmware. It charges my laptop and is recognized immediately on connection. I do like the addition of a power button, as it means I do not need to open the laptop to power it on. It's on par with other TB4 docks in terms of size, comparing to the Pluggable TB3 dock that this is replacing.Dislikes:I wish the cable was a little longer. I understand that 0.7M is about as far as you can get for a passive TB4 cable, but even just 1.5M would be lovely, especially as someone who has limited options on where I can place my laptop in relation to the docking station. It would also be nice to have a vertical mounting option, as this would take up less real estate on my desk.Overall, great dock, especially if you're already in the Lenovo ecosystem for laptops. I will update this review if I encounter any issues, but I'm pleased so far.

I purchased a workstation dock for my Lenovo Thinkpad P15s Gen 2, which has 48GB of RAM, to gain more USB ports and connect to an external monitor. When I needed to use my laptop elsewhere, I disconnected everything using the 'Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media' option, as I always do. Everything seemed normal until I reconnected the docking station the next morning, and it didn't work. I tried another cable, but still nothing happened.I contacted Lenovo support and followed their troubleshooting steps, but the issue persisted. They informed me that the docking station needed to be replaced but wasn't under warranty. This was surprising because I had bought it new from Amazon at the end of March 2024. Lenovo advised me to contact Amazon to resolve the warranty issue.I had registered the device on my Lenovo account when it arrived. While one page showed no warranty, another indicated there was one, suggesting a possible system error. I explained the situation to Amazon, and after escalation, they arranged for the device to be returned. I'm grateful for their assistance, as it saved me from dealing with the warranty confusion. In the future, I will likely avoid purchasing such devices from Amazon unless I can verify that the manufacturer will honor the warranty.

I’m using this dock with a Legion 7i Gen6 (11800H w/ 3070). Be aware, I bought this dock knowing full well it is NOT officially supported by Lenovo. I had read on several forums that it would work if you modified the power cable by removing a small piece of plastic that prevents the cable from fully seating inside the laptop power port. Bingo. Worked like a charm. Laptop is charging through the docking station. One other problem people mentioned that was the gsync wouldn’t work over the TB dock. I’m happy to mention this fully works and is supported. Currently using on a 1440p monitor with GSYNC enabled. One note, remember to disable hybrid mode before heading over to the nvidia control panel to verify gsync. Gsync won’t work with the intel GPU enabled.Only small issue I can see is the battery does begin to drain even while connected to the dock if you are planning to do long gaming sessions. My laptop was at 100% and after 2+ hours of gaming I was down to 80%. Just means the power supply can’t quite keep up with the demand so the battery helps supplement power.Other than that, all seems to be working. I have 2x 1440p monitors connected, multiple peripherals, a USB3 hub, and etc. Everything seems to be working. Didn’t have to install any drivers either, plug and play! Will update this review if I come across any issues. Good luck!

Confirmed that this was a Lenovo product consistent with Lenovo tech specs on Lenovo's web site. Received 2 days earlier than Amazon schedule!!Package had all materials, original wrapping, etc. Was able to install and have operational within a hour or so of delivery.PS: Went to Amazon site after talking with a (very helpful) person at Lenovo support that did confirm that they were "out of stock"....not sure when in might be restocked....they don't allow you to register in a queue for when they do come in, AND confirmed that the particular product may be dropped from the Lenovo supply list". It was on her suggestion that I check with Amazon (actually, she logged in while on the phone with me, and confirmed that (using Lenevo's product number) that Amazon had some available).
