This switch was the solution to being able to wire in a 3-way existing switch (replaced it) for a ceiling fixture and plugging in a transformer for a telephone, all in the same outlet. I travelled to several well known hardware stores in London (Ontario, Canada) but could not locate this type of switch. It was only available on-line.

Works great but very expensive, as it is only sold by a couple of suppliers.

This was a hard one to find. Kind of a special switch and outlet arrangement. I had switch in the garage to turn on the lights on the back deck of the house, there was another switch for the lights inside the house next to the sliding glass door onto the deck. Wanted to keep the option to use the switch but also wanted to add an outlet. Searched all the major "big box stores; Menard's, Home Depot, etc., but could not find one. Finally found a reference to this unit on a home improvement blog site. The author had the same problem and had found this and lucky for me he mentioned the manufacturer. After that it was an easy find on Amazon. Solves a unique problem and the price was very reasonable. If you have this unique need this will solve the problem.
