It's a Leviton switch and perfectly matches the rest of their decora line. You want the look but you need to control a momentary low voltage load - powered curtains or awning or such. This is it. I've used some to replace the 1950s GE low voltage rockers in my home just to avoid visitors ragging on my 'antique' system. Only your electrician will know...Usually less expensive than the leviton 120/240V momentary rocker but not always - supply and demand or something . Compare before you buy a bunch. It's no problem subbing in the over-specced line voltage version for this one (although this one is quieter). Just don't do it the other way round.

I’ve been looking to upgrade the rocker switches in my house and these devices have brought our decors into the 21st century. They work well.

DID NOT LIKE THE COST.It appears it is the only game in town to repair/retrofit old GE low voltage lighting systems as most OEM components have been out of production for decades

I have these installed throughout my house. No problems. This is not and on/off switch. It is used for motorized connections, like shutters. You control what's going on
