I purchased this smart dimmer plugin to use with Leviton’s Anywhere Companion dimmer switches to allow wireless control of spot lights in our guest-room Murphy bed. I first used the device in a weather protected location to control our Christmas lights before completing the Murphy bed project. The smart plug worked flawlessly and reliably with a schedule on the Leviton app.Now I have two of the smart plugs to power the left and right spotlights in the Murphy bed with an Anywhere Companion dimmer separately controlling each. Setup and pairing could not have been easier and more straightforward, following the well-written instructions. I am not disappointed by the fact that dimming does not go too low because the spot lights are LED and are rated down to only 10%.Integration with Alexa was also very simple from the Leviton app, so now the smart plugs can be easily controlled from Alexa, from the Leviton app and from the Anywhere Companion dimmer switches.I am pleased with the product especially because it works as I had expected, appears to have a quality build, and for the price has operational flexibility without the need for a hub.

Had no way to get wire to the inside wall of an enclosed sunroom, added the light switch and the paired wireless switch and it work’s flawlessly. With the cost of electrical wire, this is also a more cost effective solution over running 14/3 Romex! Works great with Alexa. One drawback, you have to install the Leviton app. A very nice product, had to buy a second set for the kitchen island, very easy install.

I use Apple HomeKit as my main smart home controller app. The unit paired to my system easily. It resides outside. Though there are a few interior walls and an outside brick wall separating the unit from my wifi router, the connection has been consistent and responsive.The unit appears to be robustly built. The plastic housing is solid and resilient. Connecting wire shielding is of a tough, flexible plastic. The whole unit looks to be well sealed from outdoor weather.I've had this unit for a couple of months with no negative incidents thus far. I'm very pleased.I've owned this unit for a couple of months.

Es un producto muy fácil de configurar y en muy poco tiempo tienes el control de lo que le conectes, en mi caso para una lámpara regulable. Sin problema pude cambiar la intensidad y lo mejor de todo es que no parpadea la luz, lo volvería a comprar.

Funciona de manera intermitente, al menos cada 1 o 2 semanas tengo que configurarlo nuevamente porque marca que está offline.

El producto se ve de buena calidad, es fácil de instalar pero se desconecta de la red y Alexa lo deja de reconocer muy seguido. Tengo muchos dispositivos que se conectan a Alexa y no he tenido ningun problema, incluso otros de leviton. Pero especificamente con el dimmer tengo este problema, intente comprar otro pero le pasa exactamente lo mismo, incluso lo instale en otro apagador para ver is se solucionaba y no.

Muy buena compra y práctica. La voz de Alexa no es tan alta por la bocina pero es lo suficiente para entenderla y escuchar respuestas de cualquier instrucción que yo le dé.

Me gustó, porque tienes Alexa en el apagador y tambien es dimmer. Lo que no me gustó es que no puedes colocarlos como apoagadores escalera.

This Leviton WIFI Receptacle works!!! Some of the off brand devices sold on Amazon are not reliable - they work for a while and then go off line - sometimes need to be reset - and have electrical terminals that may not be the best if you are switching a larger load. The Leviton device is a Specification grade receptacle with screw down back-wired terminals. Easy to install and easy to configure with the MY LEVITON APP and works with Alexa and Google Home for voice control. The MY LEVITON APP has all the features you would want to control the device and is very user friendly. The duplex receptacle comes with the top outlet WIFI controlled and the bottom always on. That's my only complaint, they should reverse this so the bottom outlet is controlled and the top is fixed. Any electrician wiring a split wired receptacle knows always to switch the bottom outlet so the top is accessible to plug in other things. Of course, you can rotate the receptacle 180 degrees but sometimes having the ground terminal up becomes inconvenient. Now that the major receptacle manufacturers (Leviton, Hubbell and Legrand) make WIFI receptacles, I would strongly recommend that you buy one from them rather than from some off brand supplier.
