These are wonderful placemats. I love the colors and the price! I like that you can wipe them off after a spill. They are very durable and look beautiful in my table. I like the heat resistance and the thickness is perfect. I needed a smaller placemat for my smaller table in my apartment and these fit the bill. I recommend them.

The set of 6 arrived from the seller, ahead of time by a day; exactly as described. The placements arrived flat, wrapped in tissue paper, and placed in a protective envelope. This meant that they could be used immediately without curled edges and having to weight them down for a couple of days. The weave is tight, for this type of placemat and the thickness the same as previous ones we have had for about 8 years, so many years ahead anticipated for these. The colours were quite true to the photo - a clear darker blue along the sides with a linen beige/brown weave in the middle, very neutral. Wiped down after a mustard splash there was no staining of the mat. The price point for value is excellent.

These are very good looking mats. However, they are on the thin side and are a woven material so if there are spills they will penetrate so you really need a liner underneath to protect your table or counter.I took two stars off because 1-they are not heavy duty and 2-you really do need a liner.They can be rinsed off and wiped clean.

I ordered the "beige" color twice thinking the 1st time had to have been a mistake. Both times I received "dark gray" with a "beige" sticker placed over an existing "dark gray" sticker. I had previously ordered these placemats in "caramel" -- which I like and kept. They are great quality, nice and thick. Really disappointed that they keep intentionally (?) shipping me the wrong color. It's such a waste of everyone's time!
