This was a fun buy, but my son was able to tear this apart very easily. I know that’s not their fault, but the wheels came right off and the windshield broke easily. It was great size and drove great! Once the batteries were in it worked immediately. We loved, but my son destroyed every quickly lol

I like the fact that they actually designed the school bus for kids to learn the differences from motor vehicles and trucks. My son enjoys playing with the school bus.

I've seen a few people leave poor reviews because of a tacky feeling while using this strop. I want to make it clear, the tackiness you are experiencing is from the green compound and not the leather itself. Buffalo leather is in my opinion the best leather to strop with. It's smooth surface produces an excellent polish to blades. However, some people are more used to and generally prefer vegetable tanned leather strops over Buffalo leather strops. Neither one is better than the other, they both have their pros and cons. Buffalo leather is smooth, oily leather that produces an excellent polished surface but it doesn't hold standard compounds very well. Using the strop without compound or using with CBN Emulsion is recommended for this leather. With standard compounds, you may notice a sticky feeling while stropping because the compound is sticking to the blade and not the leather. I recommend using the strop with CBN Emulsion which is a liquid that will soak into the leather and it works just as well if not better than standard compound. Or you can use the leather with zero compound and still get really great results. This makes Buffalo leather very versatile. I like to have two strops, one with cbn Emulsion and one with nothing. Buffalo leather strops work very well with no compound, the leather produces a very nice, tactile feel while stopping. You can feel when the bevel is riding the leather and when it is not. Regular vegetable tanned leather is dry and harder than buffalo. This allows it to hold standard compounds a little better but it is not as effective at dry stopping and it is harder to determine if you are stropping at the correct angle. The good thing about it is that it accepts all types of compounds and is generally a very good stropping material. As I said, I prefer Buffalo leather strops and these strops in particular are awesome. Ash is a very stable and hard wood, so it will not warp and twist over time, making it an excellent choice for strop bases. The rubber stoppers are a nice touch and work great when stopping on countertops or slick surfaces. I'm very happy with the quality of leather. You're getting a substantial piece of quality material, especially for the price. I highly recommend these strops.

The strop is well presented with the polishing compound in a sturdy box that's suitable for storage. A very nice piece of unblemished hide is mounted to a solid wood block which has little plastic nubs on the bottom to keep from marking the work surface. This makes it easy to maneuver when using. Instructions are accessed via a QR code on the box, and are clear and concise. Really, a leather strop is the only way to finish a truly sharp edge on a piece of steel, and this item makes that easy. Finally, a gentleman who identified himself as the owner of the company reached out by letter (who takes the time to write letters anymore? That was really a thoughtful touch) to make sure everything is OK. If he reads this review, the answer is unquestionably yes. Finally, it's nice to see quality products that are cost competitive coming from Eastern Europe along with the opportunity to support small business in the U.S.
