This is a great double-sided magnetic window glass cleaner. It works much better than I expected before the purchase.The magnetic is strong and adjustable, the pads are absorbable, and they also come with an additional pair for replacement.I used it to clean the outside of our window, and it did a great job. I highly recommend using a glass cleaning detergent rather than pure water. Also, make sure to follow the instructions to maneuver this cleaning tool.

This product does have extremely powerful magnets and would be useful as a clamp.For cleaning windows, why did I think this would be useful? Why would I want something to make work harder?For exterior windows, you will want one person on one side while another person is inside. Apply cleaner. Align the two halves. Adjust the magnet, if necessary. Slide one half, probably the interior half, to clean both sides of the window. Remove one half while the other person catches the other half. Repeat with next window. In my case, the exterior side of the window is higher than the interior side. The person on the exterior would need a ladder or wish there were a way to attach a pole to position the magnet.This is a good deal more difficult than the cloth/sponge and squeegee approach.I can think of two situations where this device may be useful.For showers, there could be less coordination and no issue with height. Some of it could be a one-person operation.For a sunlight you might consider leaving this device permanently in place. Buy one for each sunlight pane. Once installed, washing both sides of the sunlight would be much easier.It is a useful clamp.
