I bought the Lincoln grease gun based on reviews. That is fine in itself but, I discovered that the air fittings are incompatible with those used in Australia. In my case that is Nitto style. No problem I thought. I’ll just change the male fitting on the grease gun to a Nitto.Unfortunately the grease gun fitting thread is NTPS, a straight thread incompatible with even NPT a tapered thread.I could not find any fittings with that thread.Hence 1 star. The majority of our air fittings in Oz are BSP

I got tired of throwing away lever-operated guns that just quit working. I wanted the best and, based on the Amazon ratings by users, this gun seemed the best available.I used to hate doing zerk greasing, with grease flying all over the place. This gun makes it so much easier! And, if you buy the LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler, also available on Amazon, the combo is absolutely unbeatable!!!I am not a commercial user. I have a Tractor I lube periodically as well as an older truck. I NEVER use a whole tube of grease and if you leave a tube in most hand-operated guns, the piston slips past the grease and you have a HUGE mess on your hands when you go to pull the piston out.Instead of a tube of grease, I use a 1" paint scraper and wipe in as much grease as I'll use in an afternoon. This gun, with the bleed-air nipple makes priming the gun effortless. Put four or five dabs of Red Line Synthetic (Amazon) or whatever you use, and then screw the tube on the base, open the bleed valve, release the plunger and hit the trigger a few times until it primes and starts pumping. Close the bleed nozzle and you are in business. I get my whole tractor done and bleed out a tiny leftover back into the jar. Gun empty, I can put it on the shelf for a few months until I need to use it again. I had almost zero grease leftover on the tractor or on the floor! Winning!!!This thing is very nicely made with heavy castings on the top and a heavy grease tube and plunger on the bottom. I'll never wear it out and I will never look at zerking as a hassle again. While the gun is heavy, even with a partial load of grease loaded, with the long feed line, I just left the gun on the ground (on cardboard!!!) and hit the button once the nipple was connected. VERY easy work tapping the trigger, not like spewing grease while hand-pumping a manual gun. The LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler WILL NOT come loose until you release it and it comes off with an easy squeeze. With the LockNLube Grease Gun Coupler, you are looking at $90 for a grease gun. Believe me, it is worth every penny, especially if you only use it a couple times a year. You don't need a huge compressor to run it, a cheapie pancake compressor works fine.I love this thing. Thanks Amazon! Thanks Lincoln! Thanks LockNLube!

This is by far the BEST air grease gun there is, shame that it has to be bought from the USA, you would think, but this seller gets it to you in less time than a lot of local sellers - SUPERB!!!
