The LIT-PaTH Outdoor Post Light Mounting Base is a high-quality product that exceeded my expectations. This 2-pack set is well-made, with a durable and sturdy design that can easily support outdoor light fixtures. The black finish has a sleek and modern look that complements a variety of outdoor styles, and it has shown no signs of rust or wear even after being exposed to the elements for several weeks. The installation process was straightforward, with pre-drilled holes that aligned perfectly.I also appreciate the versatility of this mounting base—it works great for both pier and post applications. If you’re updating your outdoor lighting or need a reliable mounting solution, this is an excellent choice.Highly recommended for its durability, ease of installation, and great value for a 2-pack!

This cast iron, high quality mounting. It is similar to other LittPath mountings, with one exception. The underside of this base is 100% 'open,' unlike other LittPath base mountings in which the screw holes have a solid 'tube' of metal all the way the mounting surface, this base is just a shell. That means IF you're using these on an uneven surface, like concrete, in which you might need to add minor shimmings, you really can't to do it easily. While poured concrete is a typically self leveling, even if you trowel it level, you often need to do minor tweaking to get the base level. Given these mountings typically have 3" posts of various lengths, the need for absolute level (and thus the need to shim) is critical as the posts get longer.
