I picked up this jacket hoping it would be my go-to for outdoor activities like hiking and biking, thanks to its advertised features. It's got a lot going for it. The fabric is indeed lightweight and feels durable, which is great for someone active like me. The UV protection is a nice bonus, too, giving me some peace of mind when I'm out in the sun for extended periods. The jacket’s underarm design is supposed to reduce sweating and increase breathability, and to some extent, it does help keep the air flowing. However, I haven’t found it to be as effective as I’d hoped. I still felt a bit stuffy when the activity ramped up.The pockets are another highlight. Three large ones with zippers, including one on the chest, are super handy for keeping my essentials secure while on the move. However, the fit and comfort level aren’t quite what I expected. The elastic webbing on the cuffs and hem is great for keeping the jacket in place, but it can feel a bit restrictive, especially when I'm wearing layers underneath. Also, the overall cut could be a bit more tailored to be truly flattering.

I liked the jacket but it did not fit me well so I returned it.There were many similar jackets for less money

I give 5 stars cuz I love everything about this wind breaker. It fits well and repeals water and wind while not heating me up to much. I don't wear jackets hardly ever unless its really cold like in the negatives. This is my first experience with a windbreaker type, but it is so nice when its slight rainy and windy where a jacket would make me hot. Perfect fro early morning walks on the beach in the spring.

I'm 5'4" so quite short. I got the small and it is still a bit too long for me. I think the small would be perfect for a guy 5'6" - 5'8".It's quite comfortable to wear, but unfortunately I have to gift it to someone else! The pictures make the jacket look "thick" - at least that's the impression I get. But in reality it's really lightweight and is quite thin, which fits the description. So no false advertising there. Just make sure you realize that.

This is a very very lightweight jacket and my first thought was when do I wear it? It's not heavy enough to keep you warm, okay maybe a tad warmer, and it's not waterproof to keep you dry. It's made very similar to Columbia jackets I own with nice deep outside pockets, a zippered chest pocket and 2 inner pouch pockets, so it's great for carrying things. Initially I thought I would use it to layer under my Columbia jackets, but I'm not sure what advantage that gives me except more pockets.I wear a large size for most jackets and thought it fit a little loose, but when I asked my wife she thought it looked great and discouraged me from returning it for a medium. I'm about 5' 11", 180lbs. I do think it has a nice look especially zipped up to the neck. It's advertised as a windbreaker that provides good UV protection from the sun, great for running, hiking, or when you're out and about. I still need to try it in some stiffer winds, but if it does provide an effective block, that might warrant using it as a layer. I'm thinking the jacket would be good on a sunny breezy day, in the early morning or evening, or if you're trying to break wind and sun exposure during a run, a hike or playing golf.I was conflicted about giving the jacket 5 stars but ultimately did because, despite its limited use, it's very nice and my wife really liked it.
