used everyday for about 1 year and 8 months, male side with prongs is too thin near base leading to metal weakening, no longer sprung back to lock into female side. Design is flawed, would recommend trying a quick release key ring that utilizes a different design.

I actually bought 2 more , Your keys will not detachuntil you want them to .No accidental separation .Unit locks up tight .Build quality is is very high , i would argue mil-spec.its small but solid . HIGHLY RECOMMEND .Comes with the rings as shown and also a set of smaller rings along with a pouch .

It's strong to the point I don't think it would break apart accidentally even with weight added to it...

Needed a take-apart for valet parking. This is small, light and strong. It will not come apart accidentally but does readily enough when opened. The only downgrade for durability is the spring elements are pretty thin. This is titanium so I do not expect problems but if there are any, that is where they will be. The ring holder holes are big enough I used titanium rings and not the steel provided. That is the only other downgrade. Titanium split rings should be provided and not steel. Otherwise, very satisfied.
