Book Lights for Reading in Bed, 12 LEDs Rechargeable Battery Clip Lamp with 3 Lighting Color, Stepless Dimming. I like to read at night. I do not want to have the overhead light on while I'm reading. Then I would have to get up and turn the light on when I am sleepy. This book light is perfect for my situation. It is just a simple book light with some great features. I love the recharging battery. You can alter the colors if you like. You can also increase the light or dimm it. Happy I have it.Recommend

Like a lot of people, I usually feel hesitant to order something that has no, or very few, reviews (there were only a few reviews when I ordered.) I decided to take a chance this time and I'm glad I did. Good quality, bright, flexible, well made, and exactly as represented in the product listing. A good value for the price. I'm definitely satisfied and would place this order again.

With its twelve LEDs encased into this lighting system this compact sized book light shines brightness that casts light in darkness when reading or working during the evening or early morning hours. LEDs produce the same amount light and 90% more efficient than fluorescent or incandescent styled lighting.There are three lighting color modes (Amber, Warm White, White Light) that have LED lifespan of more than fifty thousand hours of lighting which far exceeds any normal lighting situations. Although the seller of the "2 Pack Book Lights for Reading in Bed" clearly intends this product as a reading light, I think the base/clip is too big and heavy for convenient use on any books except for large hard backed ones such as textbooks or encyclopedia volumes. However, I find these lamps much more useful as a utility or hobby light. With a sturdy base, wide-opening clip, flexible neck, and rotating head, it is usually easy to find a location from which this clip lamp can direct illumination exactly where I need it for projects. But the most useful feature for me may actually be the hole in the lamp head. For hobbies, I often need to look at items such as small electronic parts, coins, or fountain pen nibs under magnification. With this lamp, I can hold an object up close to the lamp head where the LEDs provide all-around illumination, then look through the hole using a jeweler's loupe or other magnifier to see an evenly-lit, magnified image of the object. This lamp plus a loupe works much better for me than an illuminated magnifier, which usually have LEDs that do not provide even illumination and/or are too bright.Operating this clip lamp is simple, although not explained well in the very brief instructions packed with the product or on the packaging. Charge the built-in battery with a USB power supply (not included, but you can probably use your phone charger). Red LED near charging port = charging; Green LED = done. Click the power switch (marked with standard power icon) on the head of the lamp to turn the lamp On. With the lamp On, click the second switch (marked with a key icon) to select from cool white (6000K), amber (1600K), or neutral white (4000K) light. Once you have selected the color and with the lamp still On, press and hold the power switch to dim the light. Release and press/hold again to increase brightness. Click the power switch to turn Off. The lamp will "memorize" the last used color and last used brightness setting for each color, which I find handy because I normally use the 4000K color at the lowest setting. People who normally use lamps at the highest setting should understand that running at max brightness will deplete the battery more quickly. But note that even if the battery is discharged, you can always plug the lamp in to a USB power supply and run in while plugged in and recharging.While I find the "Book Lights for Reading in Bed" by LLLPRT a little cumbersome for clipping to a book, I find these clip lights very useful as project or hobby lights, and I will use them often.

This is a convenient little light when you don’t have much light and still want to read and maybe even write down a note. I wouldn’t use it for a long period of time because it actually would put strain on your eyes. But it’s great for short period of time.
