This receptacle comes in more designer colors than any other vendor we could find. The build quality appears to be top notch.

I have dozens of these around the house because I have Lutron Caseta remote control switches and they are really a different white than other brands white which can almost look a very light almond next to these. They are very easy to install with a backplate so you can just cut the cable to length using the handy guide on the top and put the straight cable in and tighten down. Rock solid. The screws are silver and brass so you can use them for neutral and hot but as someone else said there is nothing on the receptacle to tell you which is which if that matters. The instructions are pretty clear if you need to use them.The quality seems much better than Leviton and Eaton but as I have not actually taken then apart this is just a subjective opinion based on the solidity of the product. The tamper resistance is needed according to code and it works very well. Other brands I've used need some wiggling at times to get the plug blades inserted but I've not found this to be the case with these Mutton receptacles.I use the Lutron Claro wall plate to match and it looks good with whatever color receptacle you have matched it with.My only complaint is the price as they can be five, six or seven times the cost of other reputable brands and frankly I can't see this as more than trading on the superior looking finish. I get that easy a blue stone one ought to be expensive but a regular white or almond? When you are installing a dozen or more in a room the cost does add up.

The outlets thankfully don't have backstabs, it's pressure plate and screws only. I don't like that they didn't bother to label which screw is which, but it's easy enough to figure out. The flange connecting the two screws that another reviewer mentioned that can cause a short is super thick on purpose. Spec grade requires the thicker flange so it can handle higher continuous 20 amp passthrough. Spec also requires the metal grounding strap running up the back.

First I bought these receptacles for safety, the tamper resistant is a must to prevent little fingers from sticking metal into the little holes. I also liked that they fit /look better with the Lutron Claro wall plates. I had previously used some competitor's receptacles but they didn't sit flush with the wall plate. The only thing that Lutron could improve on is the price. These receptacles weren't cheap to replace all of them during renovations.

This worked perfectly in my reno, I'm using everything Lutron and had trouble finding my colour locally. This shipped quickly and are great.
