The Neo-180 was SUPER EASY to install and took about 20 minutes. After installation, I immediately decided to try it out while standing to the side, fully clothed, to see what it would do. It shot a strong spray of water up and out of the toilet at my wall, which made me laugh (because I should know better!). My next experiment was sitting on the toilet (unclothed, of course) and turning it on--a VERY STRONG and COLD stream of water hit me surprisingly fast and made me laugh, again, and squirm, which caused the continuing stream of water to shoot through my legs and onto the floor and the wall and my clothing, until I released the bidet's on/off valve. I adjusted the water pressure by doing two things: 1. adjusted the toilet water supply valve (as recommended in the instructions), and 2. used the "water flow control knob" on the product to control the water flow! Ha! I am thrilled to have a bidet in my home and this product seems fantastic so far! It is easy to install, easy to use, and does what it says it will. I expect a decrease in my toilet paper consumption and an increase in my cleanliness! Why don't more people have these in their homes? I bought two of them and may install one in my elderly parent's home. If they don't like it, I will install it in my guest bathroom, although I worry some guests may try it and end up surprised and soaked without proper instruction.

no lo pienses! Compralo! Es un cambio de vida increible, hay un antes y un despues de un bide. No se como hemos sobrevivido como casi cavernicolas en el occidente. Amo este producto!

I bought this item just before Christmas 2016. We had a problem fitting it in the UK due the vary sizes of the T adapter/fitting. Upon leaving feedback the customer service department contacted me quickly and offered to send me a new T adapter with equal size fittings which is more ideal for the UK. Some people have commented on the plastic T adapter being of lower quality but I don't think they understand how to judge if plastic is good or poor quality. I find that plastic modern plumbing in the U.K. is doing very well. Less rusting, less soldering, better all round but that's my opinion. Anyhow customer service can not be faulted and the ingenuity behind making a quality yet cost effective product is great. I could not update my previous comment so here is my update with four stars. Four stars because I have yet to fit the part. But as soon as I have I will update my comments and hopefully give this 5 stars.

It has met the requirements. A good buy. I can recommend it particularly for senior citizens.

First, a tip: Get the 'white' model rather than the blue! The differences are subtle but the white is classier in my opinion since it blends in with the toilet and seems less like an add-on or accessory. So, this is one of those rare products that makes me want to buy one for everyone I know. Given the low price & high quality, there is no reason why any home should not have one. I think many people (like myself until recently) just don't realize this product exists!--- Installation ---Very fast and easy with just a screwdriver and pliers (search bidet neo 180 on youtube to see various homemade installation and product demos). The hoses and connectors it came with seem to be of high quality. The basic idea is to add the Y-splitter to the water supply line that attaches to your tank, so that the same water supply that fills your toilet's tank also supplies the bidet. It took me less than an hour, and I had fun installing it.--- What's it like to use the bidet? ---I feel like it's a revolution in hygiene. You'll walk away from your toilet actually cleaner than when you arrived. Also, since this transforms toilet use into a cleaner experience, I've noticed it increases the household's willingness to talk about toilet hygiene in general. The spray-activating lever allows for easy control of the water pressure. The dial makes it easy to choose between self-cleaning, 'female' mode, and normal mode. There's not much else to say. We leave it in self-cleaning mode when not in use, so that (1) if the lever got accidentally activated the spray wouldn't go all over the room, (2) we run a 2-second self-cleaning before each use just got hygiene's sake. The part of the bide that drops down into the toilet is quite subtle, it doesn't really go past the rim. I thought it would get dirty but so far it really hasn't (which makes sense, since the rim of our toilet rarely gets visibly dirty).--- Which neo bidet model? ---After seeing a very fancy, expensive, electronic bidet in a friend's house, I knew I wanted a bidet, and based on very low pricing and reviews, I knew I'd get a non-electric bidet from Luxe / neo, but which model? I chose the 180 because:- Spray is activated with a lever rather than a dial, which I think is more intuitive and user-friendly!- It has a "female" setting that I thought my girlfriend would appreciate (which she does!).- It has a self-wash setting which eliminates any concerns one might have about the nozzles getting waste inside them, even though they are behind a protective plate and only pop-out when the spray is activated (Again, good for my girlfriend who is more concerned about germs than I am. She loves it.)- No hot water supply, which I thought would be unnecessary and also too complicated to hook up.--- Cons? ---It would be nice if it came with the metal Y-splitter that is available through amazon separately, since that has a water-pressure dial to adjustment the bidet's blasting power. But I appreciate having the option to pay extra for this, rather than having the extra money built into the price from the beginning. At first I thought I'd want it, but now that I'm used to the device I think it's unnecessary. Just pull up on the lever softly to control pressure (another reason to get the model with the lever rather than the dial).

A his and her point of view review. After my wife tore her bicep muscle in a fall in the chicken coop and had to have it surgically repaired, I did what any good husband would do and offered to help keep her clean. And like any independent person, this did not appeal to her.We had some experience with a bidet attachment from her mother’s house. She had a very expensive heated seat with a blow dryer unit and lots of other bells and whistles. Well, if you have an extra $900 or so laying around and can also afford an electrician to wire your toilet up then go for it.But my wife is an excellent shopper and she came across this unit. I had my doubts because of the low price point. I was and still am, close to a year later, very pleasantly surprised.I read all of the product reviews at the time, especially the ones where installation tips and tricks were pointed out. This review will be no different as I am pretty good around tools, though you need very few to install this unit.Installation is a breeze. If you can change a toilet seat, and change a water line on the back of the toilet, then you have what it takes to accomplish this job in about 15 -20 minutes. As others recommended certain upgrades, I will do the same. First off, I purchased the metal tank adaptor /shutoff valve, found here:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FPYIK6M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1While the adaptor may not have been 100% necessary, I installed it in May of 2014 and have not had a problem yet. I do recommend using some Teflon tape on the threads. Again, probably not a necessity but I learned a very long time ago to do things right the first time and you don't have to do them again. I stand by those lessons learned. It is also important to know that this bidet works off of the pressure from the tank, NOT the water inlet. So if all heck breaks loose and you have a way to fill up your tank from rain water or other sources, you're covered. And being fed from the tank keeps it from being overly cold when using it.The second upgrade I would recommend would be toilet bumpers that raise the seat slightly so as to make sure there is enough clearance between the seat and bidet. You can find those here. (Tip: Super glue them in place, the peel off adhesive is not strong for long). They’re available here:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EA080X0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Finally, I’d like to say that this is a fantastic product that was a breeze to install, and there are even times that I am happy to have this. It has his and her settings. Just pull that lever up slowly at first or you'll get a heck of a surprise. L.O.L!A truly good quality unit for a very reasonable price. Haven't had a drop of water leak anywhere since I installed it. As my wife will tell you next, whenever we go out to a hotel the only thing she misses is our toilet bidet. So whenever I can get their portable unit I'll give you a review of that. I give this 5 plus stars and wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend it to anyone with even just basic tools and mechanical knowledge. It's pretty easy to do.I have recommended this to my over 2500 preppers on my preppers page as a way to stay as clean as possible when the SHTF, using minimal amounts of Toilet tissue. (A highly prized commodity when natural or man made disasters occur). And I'll be posting it again, as well as on my blog.http://www.facebook.com/pugetsoundpreppersAnd now on to the "Her" part of this review.SincerelyRevG IIII love this thing. With very short arms and a debilitating injury, this thing saved me from a lot of hassle and discomfort. As my husband alluded to, the flow of the water can be regulated to suit individual comfort. There are different jet positions for men and women which can be adusted. We got the non-heated water unit because we didn’t want to pay the extra money and do the extra work for the heated unit. Yes, the water can be cold but it’s bearable. The best part of all however, is the level of cleanliness I get without using a lot of time and toilet paper.Ulitmately, it’s a low cost, marvelous modern convenience. I wish I could take it with me wherever I “go”. I’ve recommended this product often and will continue to do so.Mrs. RevG III
