I replaced the original light that I had on my 1994 C3500 and this one is a direct replacement. It does not use but two of the screw holes from the original light but it is the same size otherwise.It comes with a foam seal that you peel the sticky off and adhere to the light itself before screwing it onto your truck. It also comes with two screws and two screw rubber washers. These washers will squeeze out if you tighten them to what I would have thought was the right pressure.I never trust these gaskets so I ran me some clear silicone on the top of the light in the natural dip so that I can just peel that up if I need to replace this light in the future. It is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to water leaking into your truck.The light is very bright and it looks way better than my old light did. My old cargo light did not work so this one does not work but that is on my truck not the light. Now I have a reason to track down the broken wiring and fix it.It only takes a few minutes to swap these lights out and the improvement on brightness and look is so much better. For the price this light is a good deal.

don't come with a gasket, so you will need to seal it with silicone. also, the reverse light is not working in mine, and it appeared to get some moisture inside the lens. It does serve the purpose though, and for the price is not a bad deal.
