Let me preface this review with this statement; "I do NOT order items that I do not fully intend to use myself. I sometimes use these items in ways other than perhaps the manufacture would recommend but I always try to review the item to reflect its value, craftsmanship and useability. I also do NOT do "unboxing" type reviews, I instead opt to put the item in use and review AFTER it has either proven itself or failed." That all said, let's get into it.I am a commercial beekeeper, I load and unload my bees almost exclusively at night for reasons not relevant here. Red is color that bees do not see so it does not agitate them more than they are from the movement BUT it also is hard to use as lighting in general to run a forklift about. I mounted these with the very bright light beam in the vertical position in such a fashion so that as I approach the truck if I do NOT see a beam I know I am too wide, LED light only shows up when it has something to reflect it. See the beam, I am next to where I need to be.My POINT here is, these lights DO actually work as great guide zone lights, They are super bright that even in daylight you can see them if they are pointing down to a floor. The are a great idea and I'm installing them on other beekeepers unit also.Bottom line; THEY WORK
