Easy to install. Adequately bright and clear. Large enough for many commercial uses. Long lasting light.

The light is very bright and should be used for a much higher ceiling than average residential ceiling which is mostly about 9 ft high. It doesn't come with a hanging bracket or a metal conduit pipe, which may be needed based on it installation instructions. You have to figure out your own way to install it.

This is a well made outdoor fixture that will light up my 14'x18' patio like daylight when mounted at 12'. I will install this permanently in a few weeks when I have time, but I did connect it to power temporarily and attached it to an eye bolt just to see how well it would light my patio, mainly for nighttime grilling purposes. It was perfect for my needs. It looks like it's made from some kind of alloy that has a heavy, vinyl coating that should help it resist weather-related deterioration for years. It comes with mounting hardware as well, all you need is a properly installed power source.

We put this in our garage. It looks just like noon day. We’re actually going to have to get a piece of frosted plexiglass to hang down a couple of inches below it to diffuse the light because we step down a few steps into the garage from our house, putting the light uncomfortably close to our faces and it’s TOO bright.(Do NOT look directly at this thing! Don’t even look close to it!)Worth the effort though, because you can actually see in there! It’s amazing!!The housing is metal and it’s decently heavy, so make sure you have someone strong to hold it while the other person installs it.This is where I learned that I would be the first to be eliminated on the show survivor where they have any challenges involving holding heavy things over your head.Ow.The spacing is not standard stud width, which isn’t surprising since it’s designed for gas stations, so we just screwed a couple of studs into the ceiling, screwed into the truss in the ceiling, so that we could screw it in where we wanted it and have it be plenty stable. It’s not a pretty job done but it’s the garage. We’re don’t care.We had to use our own screws as it comes with nuts and bolts, but that’s fine.
