I combined several sets - what I'll tell you though, is do NOT combine sets from multiple manufacturers like I did here. Sure, it turned out looking fairly awesome, but there are slight manufacturing tolerance differences between them. Just enough to make them difficult to put together. I won't take a star away for that though, as that's really my mistake. All the kits I have are the exact same length, color temperature and fittings - but some of the tubes won't go in the connectors. Again, NOT the manufacturers fault! If you buy from these folks, buy it ALL from these folks. Plan your layout ahead of time. I had just enough to do these.I have two separate ones that I put over my cars as you can see, and wrapped one of the hexes around each of my garage door openers (which is what I have them plugged into.) So little energy for all of them so they won't overload your opener (usually they tell you not to put anything past 60W incandescent in to prevent melting of the plastic cover, but that's nothing to worry about here.)These things look awesome and spread the light out a bit more so it's not concentrated in one big bulb.Side note: as I mentioned I have these plugged into my garage door openers. If you get the slightly better opener button, it will have a "Light" button on it you can push to just turn the lights on.

Very cool looking lights, the hexagon design is pretty cool, and dare I say it looks a little futuristic. The lights themselves are super bright, and assembling them together is fairly simple. I recommend either having some help to install these, or if you're by yourself you can use cabinet jacks like I did to keep things in place during installation. Overall these are exactly as described, and perform as expected.

I requested and received "for free" this LED Hexagon Garage LED Light Grid from COOMOORS to test and give my honest opinion. THESE ARE BRIGHT, REALLY BRIGHT... Easy to assemble and install, Great Design Options, No problems or complaints in any way. Over the past two months I have order 5 sets of these lights from different sellers with different amounts of light bars in each offering. All have been the exact same size, light temperature color and all parts were compatible, just different number of light bars to build with. In total I could fill most of the ceiling of my two car garage with some left over to attach a few to the wall also. All five sets have been the same quality (different sellers but appear to be same manufacturer shipping boxes?) so any I would reorder now would be the ones with the best price after checking for coupons and discounts. With over 150 listing for "HEXAGON GARAGE LIGHTING" you should be able to find some great deals (just be certain to check the reviews and specs if you are going to order more than one set from different sellers.) This dealer shipped fast, the package was packed well.Ordering as a Vine member does not mean I’m getting "free products". Between my time for testing the product, doing an honest review and the INCOME TAX I am liable for because I am "receiving items of value in lieu of wages" based on the LIST PRICE with no coupons allowed to be used, there is a real cost to these items "paid for" by me. Since most of the items offered to VINE Member are Brand New, never on the market before MANY TIMES the price drops or coupons become available to every Amazon buyer a week or so after VINE Members orders them at FULL LIST PRICE. This really affects any saving VINE Members may end up with... So far I have been having a great time "doing my VINE job", and I hope to continue doing it for quite some time....

This hexagon modular LED light is similar to many others on the market. It does require assembly, as each light bar is it's own separate module, and requires clear plastic connectors to bridge them together. Construction feels very plasticky and lightweight, which means it's quite easy to maneuver and hang. It probably will not survive being dropped or handled frequently, but if it's hanging from the wall or ceiling, it won't matter much. When assembling some of the pieces together, tolerances vary and some of the plastic parts require a bit of force to fit together. The lights get decently bright, and a couple of these will easily light up an entire room. The stated color temperature of 5000K appears accurate, colors are well represented, and power consumption of one hexagon is about 40W. Overall, this is a decent product, but it does feel a bit cheaply made.
