This cord was perfect for the bolo ties I made! It is good quality and a great value too! I was able to get 5 ties out of each package. I even ordered 2 more packages to use again

Some of those bolo backs will cut through the artificial leather, but the real leather stands up to use. I like the variety of colors too.

Bought this to make a bolo tie and realized I made a big mistake. The listing did and still does while writing this review list the item as "Genuine Leather Cord" when obviously handling the product it is not real leather, I actually didn't catch the product title when first ordering it and I expected it to be PU leather anyways (this doesn't change the fact though that the product title is a lie) In the end didn't realize cheap PU leather like this will always retain its rolled up shape and is impossible to make it bend in any other direction. This would probably be decent enough for bracelets but for anything else that doesn't need a to bend in a circle it's pretty much useless. If you are looking for braided leather to use for bolo ties or necklaces I'd recommend just buying the strands of actual leather and braiding it yourself if you are on a budget.
