I have wasted some material trying to get the hang of this but, for me, I’ve learned to cut my image slightly smaller so it doesn’t go all the way around the magnet case. I got this machine to make magnets out of photos so my images are thicker than paper. The magnet quality is great. A lot stronger than anticipated and now we have personalized magnets all over the fridge. The learning curve is a little tedious though.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas, she LOVES it. Shes 7 and has a blast making magnets for everyone in the family.

This is a great fridge magnet or button maker. The plastic parts are solid and the construction feels sturdy. The kit comes with pieces to make 100 fridge magnets. The price is in line compared to other units that do the same thing, especially when considering the cost of 100 fridge magnet supplies bought separately. The process does take a few steps but is easy to understand and accomplish. I made my 1st magnet in about 1 minutes using some scrap wrapping paper I had laying around. The press does not require much strength to press. The handle is comfortable to grip. This project is suitable for children and adults. The kit also includes appropriately sized allen wrenches, which leads me to the idea that there is the possibility to interchange molds to other sizes and shapes compatible with this machine... But I do not see any information included or information in the description that states that idea to be true. If that idea is true, then the cost of this kit is even more justifiable. Either way, I am satisfied with the quality of the maker and eager to make more magnets with some personalized pictures and artwork.
