The ADS1115 analog converter is a great little breakout board with 4 channel inputs and 16 bit ADC.With the programmable addresses, 4 of these can be wired together on an I2C bus for 16 inputs.I really appreciate the ferrites on the Vdd and GND. That is very important with a sensitive analog input to keep the RF noise down. Even so, keep your phone a good distance away to avoid contaminating your readings with extra noise if you want to take advantage of all 16 bits of accuracy.A handy and useful breakout board for a nice IC. Easily interfaced with I2C libraries on any processor.Tested with ESP32 and works fine.

I’ve bought 3 of these, and two were defective. There’s an issue with them where some are not able to read the data properly when using multiple Analog pins at once. Figured this out by swapping one for another, and suddenly my code worked. Bought a third one, had the same issue. But when it works it’s good, just too risky.

I am getting some noise from this device when trying to measure voltage on a wheatsone bridge for straingauge application. Not sure if the problem is the chip but I wasn't able to located the source. Chips work, but many library are counterintuitive.

I am using it together with a Beaglebone Black board to read continuously from a small solar cell. The ADC has been up an running for 2 month already. Very pleased with it.
